Orthopedic surgeon Vishal Khatri, MD, has joined the Englewood Health Physician Network and Englewood Hospital. Dr. Khatri’s main clinical interests are degenerative spine disease, traumatic spine injuries, geriatric fractures, spinal tumors, and spine injuries in athletes. He joins Englewood Orthopedic Associates and welcomes new patients to his practice in Englewood and Paramus. "I am passionate about creating a comprehensive, multidisciplinary spine center at Englewood Orthopedics Associates in order to help serve the patients in our region," says Dr. Khatri. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Khatri to our team at Englewood Orthopedic Associates. His knowledge and skill in treating spine injuries and disease will help to continue our mission to help our patients get back to doing what they love,” says Asit Shah, MD, PhD, chief of orthopedics, at Englewood Health, and an orthopedic surgeon with Englewood Orthopedic Associates. Dr. Khatri received his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, in Washington, DC. He did an orthopedic surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, where he was chief resident, followed by a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland Health Center–R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, in Baltimore. He is a member of AO Spine, the North American Spine Society, and the New Jersey Orthopedic Society. In addition to English, Dr. Khatri is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
