John Thomas, President of R&B Debris, was named to the Board of Directors of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), as announced at the annual Board Members meeting at C&D World Convention at Bally’s Casino in Las Vegas. “It’s an honor for me to join this prestigious group,” said Thomas. “We look to the CDRA for guidance through the everchanging C&D waste disposal industry and I look forward to playing an active role, representing R&B Debris as well as companies’ around the country that are involved in C&D waste disposal.” In addition to serving on the board, Thomas will continue to be a member of the association’s Legislative Committee and take on the new role Chair for the End Market Committee, working in concert with other members to monitor the rules and laws that govern the industry as well as finding new disposal options for end market materials. “John’s experience will make him a valuable member of the board of CDRA,” said Darryl Caplan, Founder and Managing Director of Hainesport Holdings. “His insights will surely be welcome on the Legislative Committee and we’re looking forward to having a greater presence in an association that we greatly value for all they do in this ever-evolving industry.” CDRA represents a diverse group of member companies and agencies from many construction and demolition materials recycling disciplines and industry specialties in the US and abroad.
