Tracy Schoenberg, CIANJ's Executive Vice President of Communciations and Government Affairs graduated from Lead New Jersey's Class of 2020 yesterday during a virtual ceremony. Lead New Jersey (LNJ) accepts a highly select group of fellows to learn about cutting edge issues and to connect with talented leaders who are making improvements around New Jersey. Lead New Jersey's year-long monthly seminars probe today's problems and tomorrow's prospects with current leaders. Seminars take place around the state to provide participants with direct experience of the issues and combine site visits, case studies, debates, and simulations with presentations from and conversations with a wide variety of policy and leadership experts in New Jersey. Schoenberg has been with CIANJ for three years and served first as the Manager of Communications & Social Media before becoming the Director of Communications and most recently Executive Vice President. Schoenberg graduated from Rutgers College with a degree in journalism and political science and earned a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Prior to joining CIANJ, she was a journalist and worked for NBC News, Newschannel 4, Patch and freelanced for various publications. She won an Emmy for her work as a producer at Newschannel 4. She is currently in her second term as Council President for the Borough of Oradell in Bergen County.
