Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Jamie H. Greenwood has joined the firm as an Associate. Jamie H. Greenwood, of Hauppauge, NY, has joined the firm’s Insurance Fraud practice group. Greenwood helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Greenwood served as an Assistant District Attorney for five years at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, she investigated and prosecuted a wide array of cases including assault, driving and boating while intoxicated, domestic violence offenses, and theft-related offenses. She handled the prosecution of these cases from intake to trial, including conducting plea negotiations, motion practice, and evidentiary hearings. She was also lead counsel on numerous jury and non-jury trials. Greenwood received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law.
