Fairleigh Dickinson University and the World Science Festival are pleased to bring CITY OF SCIENCE back to New Jersey on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Last year's inaugural event was a big success and we'd like to invite you to join the Science Ambassador and Volunteer team to bring this free day of science to life. CITY OF SCIENCE turns FDU's Rothman Center into a fascinating world of science exploration featuring large-scale exhibits built by the World Science Festival, activities and tours by FDU science and engineering departments, talks by scientists, and meet and greets with recent graduates. It's a great way for families with middle and high school students to become engaged with science and learn about opportunities for study in college and beyond. JOIN THE TEAM: Science Ambassadors: Science teachers, faculty, and students (college or above) - Take charge of large-scale interactive exhibits and explain the science. Volunteers: College students and science enthusiasts help the event run smoothly and earn 8-hours of community service.
