U.S. News & World Report has ranked Berkeley College among its Best Regional Colleges/Universities in the North in its 2023-2024 edition of the Best Colleges survey. Berkeley College – New Jersey and Berkeley College – New York are also ranked among the Best Regional Colleges/Universities in the North for Social Mobility, assessing how well schools graduate economically disadvantaged students. This is the fourth consecutive year U.S. News has recognized Berkeley College – New Jersey on the Best Colleges survey, and the second year it has recognized Berkeley College – New York. Additionally, Berkeley College was recognized on the national list for Most Students Over Age 25 (No. 10 in New York and No. 17 in New Jersey); and on the regional lists for Campus Ethnic Diversity (No. 7 in New York and No. 33 in New Jersey); and Most International Students (No. 4 in New York). The publication ranked 1,500 colleges and universities nationwide on 19 measures of academic quality, including graduation and retention rates; peer assessment; student-faculty ratio; class size; and others. Berkeley College – New Jersey was tied at No. 152-167 on the Best Regional Universities – North list, and rose from No. 86 in 2022 to No. 79 on the Best Regional Universities – North list for Social Mobility. In New Jersey, 15 institutions were acknowledged in the Best Regional Universities – North category, and 14 institutions were acknowledged in the category for Social Mobility. Berkeley College – New York was ranked at No. 36 on the Best Regional Colleges – North list, and rose from No. 28 in 2022 to No. 18 on the Best Regional Colleges – North list for Social Mobility. In New York, 20 institutions were acknowledged in the Best Regional Colleges – North category, and 19 institutions were acknowledged in the category for Social Mobility.
