The Berkeley College Foundation welcomed a record 105 golfers to the Basking Ridge Country Club on Monday, June 5, 2023, for the Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Outing. The event, which included a barbecue lunch, cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and prizes, assists the Foundation in its mission to provide scholarships and support for student success. “The Berkeley College Foundation is grateful for the community and business leaders, sponsors, and volunteers who continue to support the Foundation in its mission,” said Ellen Zitis, Executive Director, Berkeley College Foundation. “The speeches at this year’s Golf Outing illustrated the enduring connections our alumni have with Berkeley College, and the ways Foundation scholarships have had a tangible impact on the recipients’ academic achievements and future career success.” The Berkeley College Foundation held its inaugural Scholarship Awards Dinner in 2017, and since that time has awarded $184,000 in scholarships to 48 need-based students. The generosity of Golf Outing supporters enabled the Foundation to award five additional scholarships to Berkeley College students in 2023.
