The Medical Center won in the Pandemic Relief category (Paramus, NJ) – Paramus, NJ – The Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE Magazine celebrated and recognized companies across New Jersey who gave back to their communities at its 2023 Companies That Care Award Ceremony. Bergen New Bridge Medical Center was one of three honorees in the Pandemic Relief category. The Medical Center’s Community Health Team was recognized for their outreach over the last two years, conducting COVID-19 testing and vaccinations both onsite and out in the community. An independent panel of judges reviewed the entries and chose the honorees. “Bergen New Bridge has led the way during the pandemic with COVID-19 testing and vaccinations since 2020,” said Deborah Visconi, President and CEO, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. “This is a well-deserved recognition for our Community Health Team who not only oversaw testing and vaccinations at the hospital, but brought these services into the communities we serve, including marginalized and traditionally underserved communities.” All recipients were recognized for their achievements in the May/June edition of COMMERCE Magazine, which can be read here.
